Encantado is located approximately seven miles north of downtown Santa Fe, near the Santa Fe Opera. The resort property is located on 57 acres and offers breathtaking views of the Rio Grande, Los Alamos and Jemez Mountains. The resort, once the site of a small inn owned by Betty Egan, will be entirely redeveloped featuring 62 beautifully designed casitas nestled along a hillside with stunning vistas of the desert and surrounding mountains. Outdoor enthusiasts will have direct access to the Santa Fe National Forest for hiking, biking and horseback riding. A full-service spa will emphasize health, fitness, rejuvenation and spiritual well-being. The spa’s design will incorporate the outdoors with pools, gardens and courtyards. The main lodge will feature a restaurant and bar offering regional cuisine and will be available to hotel guests and local residents. The resort will showcase local and internationally known artists with an expansive outdoor sculpture garden woven throughout the resort grounds.
